I am born into the United States of America. Of course, hardly anyone notices (LOL). The trend of spreading around the responsibiilites for some of the good things the king used to be responsible for has continued and by the time I am born, the kingdom has gotten close to having every adult citizen (whatever their race or gender) now being in charge and being involved in using their kingly judgement to decide what is right for our group. The kingless kingdom is getting close to every adult over 18 being in charge. Not too bad for a kingdom that started with just one person in charge.
It seems many of the people in our country group have been using their kingly judgement pretty well when it comes to doing things that protect a lot of us from how we would have to live if we were still in Death's Kingdom. Those protections are an important part of opportunity and prosperity. Still, not everyone is equally protected, but on average the country group has a lot of protections and opportunities. Spreading around the responsibilities seems to have worked better here than anywhere that only a king had the ultimate responsibility. So it seems a country group organizational order works better when close to everyone stands watch, like a king would. One, or just a few people wanting to do things that are bad for the group, can't hurt us too much... or one, or a few people making mistakes can't hurt us too much either. Plus, the amount of good we seem to have been able to do with many of us standing watch, seems to mostly outweigh the bad some of us do.
I live my life in this Kingless Kingdom, and go to school, and do lots of growing up things. It took a while (although it seems so fast looking back now sometimes), but I eventually became old enough to be called an adult.
