A Challenge Maze Game can be stopped and resumed at a later time if a player 'saves' a game with a password and then 'loads' the game later with that same password.
To save a game a player must first press the F3 key.   This can be done in any maze room except a room with a challenge in it.   If a player presses F3, the following button and input box will soon appear at the top of the screen.
A player can then type in a password.   Passwords must have at least 7 characters.
Selecting the save button will then allow the player to continue playing their current maze with their progress saved up until that point, or to stop playing and later start playing again in the same place where they stopped.
Games with multiple players will only have one password and the progress of all the players will be saved any time one player saves a game.
If a player is then playing a game where they have already given the Challenge Maze Software a password for that game, the save menu will then look a bit different.   The menu will not ask them for a password again.   The password will always be the same for returning to that game.
The menu will now look like the image below.
If a player selects the 'Save' button they will again be able to return to that room at a later time.
To return to a Challenge Maze Game and be in the same room a player was in when the player stopped playing, the player must load the saved game.
At the title screen select the 'Load Game' button.
The bottom of the screen should now look like the image below.
A player should then enter the password that they entered when the game was first saved.
This will allow the player to return to their game in the room where they saved the game.
