Description of Use

This entry will direct the Challenge Maze Software to present a challenge to a player if 'Word' or 'Number' is written.   This entry can be left empty to omit a challenge from the maze room.   If 'Word' or 'Number' is written in this entry, the (room number).txt File must contain all required entries for a complete challenge or the Challenge Maze Software will err.   Once a player solves this entry, this line becomes empty in the copy of this file you can find in a subfolder of the Game State Folder.   It becomes empty because the Challenge Maze Software writes an empty line to the file so that the player does not have to solve this challenge over and over when entering the room in which this challenge is written.   This is the normal behavior of the Challenge Maze Software and is not designed to allow challenges to be presented to the same player after they have been solved.

Description of Options

• WORD
  • Directs the Challenge Maze Software to present a challenge, to show challenge text exactly as it was entered in the Challenge Text Entry, and to look for the answer to the challenge in the Challenge Word Answer Entry.
• NUMBER
  • Directs the Challenge Maze Software to present a challenge, to show challenge text as it was entered in the Challenge Text Entry but with NUM's replaced, and to calculate the answer to this challenge using 3 other entries.   Those entries for the calculation are the Formula with NUM's Entry, the NUM's To Be Affected By Player Challenge Factor Entry , and the NUM's Ranges Entry.
