Description of Use

This entry can be a compound entry and is used to provide Maze Makers with the ability to add a passage or passages to other rooms immediately after all the secrets of all secret types have been found by a player.

The entries for adding passages have a multi-part single line format that mimics multiple entries.   Those entries are the following entries in the (room number).txt File.   The entries for adding passages can write write to the following entries when the passages are added:

• Passage North Type Entry
• Passage East Type Entry
• Passage South Type Entry
• Passage West Type Entry
• Passage North Entry
• Passage East Entry
• Passage South Entry
• Passage West Entry

EXAMPLE:

33~East~Wood Door~Open|34~West~Wood Door~Open

• 'Wood Door' is what would normally be written in the Passage North Type Entry or Passage East Type Entry, Passage South Type Entry or Passage West Type Entry.
• 'Open' is what would normally be written in the Passage North Entry or Passage East Entry or Passage South Entry or Passage West Entry.
• The '33' and '34' inform the Challenge Maze Software about to which room number the passage will be added.
• 'West' and 'East' inform the Challenge Maze Software about the cardinal direction (North, South, East, or West) of the wall to which the passage will be added.
• The vertical bar '|' separates each passage that will be added.   Passages are normally added in pairs (2 passages, 4 passages, 6 passages, etc..) because for every passage that is added a Maze Maker should often include a passage in the adjoining room to which the passage was added so that the player can get back to the room the same way they left it.
• There is no option when adding passages that gives the opportunity to a Maze Maker to indicate to which room the passage leads.   That information must be supplied to the Challenge Maze Software through the Passage North Leads To Entry or the Passage East Leads To Entry or the Passage South Leads To Entry or the Passage West Leads To Entry.
