Challenge Maze is free software for making and playing games. Players overcome challenges by entering words or numbers as they as they navigate through a first-person perspective maze in a simulated 3D environment. The mazes are fully customizable and include the option to write your own text questions and math problems as well pick from pre-made rooms, monsters, secret passages, rewards, and more.
The software includes a sample maze that can be played right away, a maze template that can help build new mazes, and media such as images & sounds that can be added to to any maze by simply typing a few words into a text file. A new maze can be made in a matter of minutes or hours depending on the level of customization sought for that maze.
